About

FB3Hey everyone I’m Jon Peng & and these are my thoughts and experiences about the ongoing quest to become a high performance individual. My observations are based largely on my experiences & personal discovery stemming from 2005 to present day where I experienced the ultimate culture shock when I moved to Shanghai, China. When I was given the choice to drudge away in college & transfer or move to a mysterious foreign land the choice was simple. With not one word of Chinese under my belt & a suitcase in hand, I made the decision to study Chinese for what I thought would be a year at most. Little did I know that I would make Shanghai, China my home for the next 8 years and go on to start my own business there.

FB6Shanghai, China is a fascinating city which houses a truly global community among its high rises, bright lights, and never ending hustle and bustle.  I’ve been blessed to experience all that China has to offer as well as collecting a global group of friends which literally has provided me a couch to crash on every continent of our beautiful world. Their opinions and culture have shaped my current view of the world and my perception of what true value means in life.

With that said “Power of Mind” is based on my life as a dreamer and the never ending quest to make those dreams a reality. A lifetime love of motivational speaking & books as well as a career in neuroscience based training has helped me to further understand  how high performance people achieve success. Here you will find my personal insights which will be teamed up with information about how the human brain works for and against you when trying to achieve and unlock your utmost potential.

FB1Lastly, I want to make it clear that I am not writing this as a professional, but rather as someone simply trying to figure it out like the rest of us.Thanks again for your time and reading this. Please feel free to share your thoughts and opinions with me!
